The Amazing Mr. Park

PhotoThe Amazing Mr Park Trilogy for Key Stages 1, 2 & 3, has been playing now for the last two years. The plays focus on the plight of Mr. Park and his quest for information prior to the fast approaching interview for the Park Manager, a job surely fit for him with his lovely suit and coincidental name.

The central character takes audiences of up to 70 on a fast moving journey around the park where they meet characters from history, search for naughty children, play games, hear interesting stories and learn about the history and development of the park. During this there are plenty of opportunities to recap on information ensuring all audience members have taken in and retained information.

The plays are designed to suit the needs of each individual group in time, speed and performance content, i.e.: the some groups need a full on guided tour, others need the facts spelt out to them. Some groups need a break;others need more games within the hour and a half to two hour presentation. Along with this there is even the ability to adapt and change for requirements of individuals within the group and any behavioural issues.

It could be what the park means to you or what you think of the park. We want a complete picture of lives in the park and how it can affect those lives. Remember it doesn't have to be in a good way. You may recall a bad incident or something you've seen that you didn't like. How can you take part? You could write a piece of poetry or prose, you could create a short story or just put your feelings down. We will also accept pictures of photographs for consideration. Once we have enough material we will put it all together into a publication celebration lives in and around our park. If you would like to contribute please send your
